Description
S57005 is a double-sided PE foam tape with a 1.0mm thickness, featuring a modified acrylic adhesive on the open side and a pure acrylic adhesive on the covered side. It offers excellent resistance to cold, chemicals, aging, and UV radiation. The tape is vibration-absorbing and compensates for different coefficients of linear thermal expansion, making it ideal for door and window applications, as well as mounting building profiles in construction.
Features & Benefits
The modified acrylic adhesive on the open side is distinguished by its excellent resistance to cold. Thus the application is possible even at low temperatures. It shows a high initial and final adhesion at high shear strength, excellent ageing resistance and exceptional resistance to the influence of chemicals (domestic cleaning and polishing agents)
The pure acrylic adhesive on the covered side is featured by maximum resistance to ageing, UV-radiation, weathering and plasticisers. The excellent initial adhesion (tack) offers a reliable bond immediately after application. Maximum final adhesion is reached after approximately 24 hours
